First Seed Sowing of the Season

[AFG_gallery id=’33’]

It is very satisfying to sow seed, knowing we can watch it grow over the coming weeks.

We finished clearing the grass from the farthest corner of the meadow and seeded the area marked off with the logs.

Thank you to everyone who came along. We’re having another session on 16th April.

If you want to join out next session, make sure you’re on our mailing list, we’ll send a reminder. Please check our tweets and Facebook as well!

Everyone is welcome – for as little or as long as you would like.    You’ll need to wear suitable clothing and boots or shoes for the outdoors.

We will provide all the tools, some guidance, and a sweet snack for break-time.   You will also earn time credits for every hour worked.  You can spend these all over London, including some local activities. More information here.

Please note we are in the middle of having works done to repair our stag beetle loggery, so take care around the willow dome. Thank you to Quinn London for this. It is well protected and will be completed very soon.

For those of you who feel like something more energetic, there is a free bootcamp class in the park on Tuesday and  Saturday at 10am, run by OurParks.  For more details, or to sign up (you need to book) look here.
