Summer 2021 Activites

It doesn’t always feel like we’re having much of a summer but we remain optimistic.

Queen’s Park Community Council are holding the summer festival and for 13-17 years olds, ten days of summer camp. These will be dependent upon the status of the pandemic and will require pre-booking.  There are Lego Bubble parties for the under 10’s in the last week of July.

Summer Festival!!

Everyone’s favourites with two stages, kids’ entertainment, the Dog Show (11 -to 12), delicious food show, family sports and games in the park and the over 50’s party (from 12 to 3). Scroll down for the flyer with list of acts and activities expected. (Register here for the Dog Show).

7th August from noon until 6pm. Book your place here.

Queen’s Park Community Council are taking extra measures to ensure this event can go ahead! There will be a ONE WAY system with the ENTRY at Fourth Avenue.

Covid-19: We’ve paused our official gardening sessions until we feel it is safe for us to return, as we work in public spaces. You may sometimes find some of our core team working to maintain parts of the park. If you would like to join our mailing list, please drop us a line via the Contact Form.
Ulla is running her Thursday morning sessions. More details here.
If you use the Wildlife Area, please respect those who are seeking a quiet area, free from joggers and dogs.
