Entrance to park (at Third Avenue) subject to capacity restrictions, with views just as good from Ilbert Street.

Four time credits per person give entry into the VIP area with the Community Champions.

As a result of the popularity of the event, this year there will be additional road closures and extra security to make sure the event continues to be safe. The following roads will but shut from 4pm onwards:

Ilbert Street – between Galton Street and Third Avenue
Fourth Avenue – between Ilbert Street and Enbrook Street
Third Avenue – between Kilravock and Caird
Bruckner Street – between Lancefield and Third will be resident access only.

Cars wanting to enter these roads between 4pm and the time the roads are declared safe for cars to pass through again (approximately 7pm) will be diverted onto surrounding roads. We kindly ask that residents move their cars from sections on Ilbert Street, Fourth Avenue and Third Avenue mentioned above.

Did you know? Whilst we invite people into the park to watch the display, views are just as good from Ilbert Street and toys are for sale in both places so please don’t rush home from work or feel disappointed in you don’t get into the park. You’ll still see the show!
