Half Term Activity Pack

Pop into the Wildlife Area on Wednesday 28th October, to collect a Half Term Window Activity Pack.

The QPCC with be there with Happy Lizzy between 10am and 2pm. Find out how to make lanterns that can be displayed in windows during bonfire week. Learn about the Queen’s Park Scarecrow Competition too!

Halloween Escape Garden

This Event is now sold out.

20 minutes to get in and out! Masks and gloves. Chains and cages. Spiders and Zombies. Anything could happen!!

Find the clues and get out of there quick before THEY get you. Haunted community garden. Something has gone very wrong. Is this safe? What’s that?? Enter at your own risk!

Covid-19 secure. Masks and gloves provided. All equipment cleaned between visits. Temperature check on arrival. Small groups only. Strict social distancing and time slots, which can be booked here.

Silver Sunday

An afternoon of entertainment & interest with friends. Live performance by David Karl! Outside, safe and socially distanced seating.

Taking place on Sun, 4 October 2020 between 12 noon to 3pm (with 45 minute slots) at Amberley Club House, 10 Clearwell Drive, W9 2JZ.

Enjoy some favourite songs, individually packed afternoon tea, an informative explorer map of the area, and an option for advice on how to get the best from your smart phone or tablet from our digital guru.

Your place will be reserved for you at a safe distance from others – book with friends if you want to sit together!

Outdoors, with all weather gazebos, but wrap up warm, maybe bring a blanket?

Hand gel and masks will be provided.

Silver Saturday with QPCC

The Queen’s Park Community Council have organised a day of free events on SATURDAY 3rd October, to recognise Silver Sunday 2020.

An afternoon of entertainment & interest with friends.

Live performance by Franz Black!

Outside, safe and socially distanced seating.

Enjoy some favourite songs, individually packed afternoon tea, an informative explorer map of the area, and an option for advice on how to get the best from your smart phone or tablet from our digital guru.

Your place will be reserved for you at a safe distance from others – book with friends (max 6) if you want to sit together!

Outdoors, with all weather gazebos, but wrap up warm, maybe bring a blanket? Hand gel and masks will be provided.

This is being held in the garden at Lydford Community Hall, 74 Fernhead Road, W9 3EW from 12 noon to 4pm, with 45 minute time slots.

End of Summer Plant Sale!

Following the sell-out success of Ulla’s event in July QPCC & HCGA are delighted to announce their End-of-summer Queen’s Park Plant Sale (more details below image).

As part of the Play Streets Initiative, they will be holding a pop-up sale on Kilravock Street (Fifth Ave end) on Thursday 27 August from 3.30pm to 5pm. 

Here’s a sneak preview of some plants that will be available:

Herbs: lavender, rosemary, basil (purple, lemon), sage, lemon balm, fennel, lemon verbena

Fruit & Veg: beetroot, swiss chard, spinach, raspberry bush

Ornamental plants: sunflowers, cyclamen, day lilies, geraniums/pelargoniums, dianthus, range of indoor/house plants

Free gardening advice will be available.

We will be accepting cash – exact money only-and offering a card payment facility.

Please come along, bring your gardening queries and your reusable bags and pick up some plant bargains. 

Social distancing rules will be in operation. Please respect them..

The Dog Show Is Back!

This fun, family-friendly event is now ticketed for your safety on Saturday, 15th August 2020 from 11:00am to 1pm BST

Let’s Get Talking

The Mozart Community Champions will be delivering a workshop based around managing stress, via Zoom at 2pm on Tuesday, 23rd July.

The workshop is free to attend for those living in and around the Mozart and Queen’s Park estates in Westminster.

They hope to explore ways to manage stress; share tips and ideas; create personal plans for managing stress. They will also discuss ways to support friends and families by reducing their stress.
