On The Street – QPCC Pop-Up Shop

Queen’s Park Community Council have a pop-up shop at 548 Harrow Road, for the next three weeks.

This is our chance to have a say in the future of our neighbourhood.

Next time you go shopping on Harrow Road, Tuesday to Friday, make a little extra time to pop in and talk to someone. Take a look around, see what’s happening and learn what your neighbours would like to happen.

Several workshops have been scheduled too. Don’t miss them!

Park Weeding

Those of you who regularly walk through Queen’s Park Gardens will have noticed the mass of weeds around the circular broadleaf shrub “Griselinia Littoralis”.

Last weekend, we squeezed an extra morning of gardening to clear the weeds from the shrub bed near the Third Avenue entrance to the park.

Perhaps you saw us hard at work, or stopping for our customary chocolate break.  Please join us this Saturday for our regular, scheduled session in the Wildlife Area.  More details here.
