Another event for the diary, a short walk from our end of Elgin Avenue is Tamplin Mews Gardens where this year’s WECH Summer Festival will be held on 19th July between 1pm and 5pm.

Our neighbours across the border in Meanwhile Gardens have a pop-up petting farm on Sunday from 1 – 5pm.
Just across the border, Kensal Green Cemetery are holding their open day on Saturday from 11 until 5.

Tomorrow, Friday 3rd July between 3pm and 5pm, the PTA at St Mary Magdelene CE Primary School are having their Summer Garden Party.
It’s a wonderful chance to have a look at the great things Rachel Hurford has achieved in what was previously just a neglected space. The school is a short walk along the canal, at Westbourne Green, halfway between the Great Western Road Bus Garage and Little Venice.

The Community Council are hosting workshops in their On The Street venue at 548 Harrow Road.
On Tuesday, 14th July the workshop will be about Transport and Sustainability in the area.
There will be an introduction explaining the process of the Neighbourhood Plan, the engagement thus far and next steps.
Hugh Small of Living Streets will present a summary of their manifesto for pedestrian friendly streets and schemes that are pertinent to Queen’s Park.
Publica will present some of the survey drawings about transport, pedestrian and traffic intensity.
There will be a general discussion about transport and accessibility in the area followed by some question and answer group activities.
Emma Cross from Westminster Waste and Parks will introduce a discussion about the issue of recycling and rubbish in Queen’s Park and Westminster followed by a second Q & A session about rubbish and recycling.
Finally, there will be an exercise to ascertain 5 priority projects to form the structure of the Neighbourhood Plan
